At OWLogistics we utilize the Kaizen Quality System as part of our management philosophy that we live every day. We apply the Kaizen quality strategy with 4 guiding principles:

  • Embrace change and challenge the status quo
  • Create a learning, non-judgmental, non-blaming approach to improvement
  • Think of the "big picture" not solely a narrow view of one element of the process
  • Consider the process and the results (not just the results)

At OWLogistics we strongly encourage and supply resources to foster these quality principles. We utilize the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle of improvement by:

  • employing standard operating procedures
  • measuring processes where applicable
  • auditing processes & procedures
  • tying quality to our employees' performance

Kaizen has delivered small improvements, but in the culture of continual small improvements and the standardization of these improvements, large results have been achieved.
